Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District seeks input

The Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District is looking for feedback on Beneficial Use options and will hold hearings for public comment on Thursday.

Two Public Input Sessions/ Hearings will be held on July 14th (one in the day and one in the evening) to solicit and accept additional public input. You can attend at the Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District Board of Directors meeting is at the District office at 828 Seventh St in Eureka. Thursday 7th, noon and 6pm. The meeting includes a presentation at 1:30pm. on using the water within the Mad River watershed. Dennis Halligan, a fisheries biologist with Stillwater Sciences, will be discussing using the water for instream flow.

The District invites your input and suggestions on the Implementation Plan as well as any ideas regarding using or selling water. Please provide your input by filling out the Public Input Form (pdf) and fax it to 707-443-5731 or by emailing it to wrpinput@hbmwd.com
